Responsibilities
- Analyze complex defense datasets using SQL, Python, and Tableau to identify operational patterns
- Develop interactive dashboards for senior leadership decision-making
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST 800-53)
- Present findings to Congressional oversight committees and DoD leadership
- Maintain data integrity across classified and unclassified systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with intelligence community partners
- Mentor junior analysts in advanced statistical modeling techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (e.g., DCII, JDISS)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and visualization tools
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance)
- Expertise in DoD data governance frameworks and compliance standards
- Strong analytical writing skills for briefing senior officials
- Experience with geospatial analysis and defense mapping systems
