You'll work with cutting-edge tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze trends, identify patterns, and generate reports that inform policy and operational strategies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets related to border security, immigration trends, and operational metrics
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, or similar tools
- Prepare comprehensive reports and briefings for senior leadership and federal partners
- Ensure data integrity and compliance with federal regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.)
- Collaborate with IT teams to improve data collection systems and quality
- Support ad-hoc data requests from federal agencies and congressional inquiries
- Train team members on data analysis methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with SQL and Python/R
- Federal government security clearance eligibility (or existing clearance)
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Knowledge of federal data governance and privacy regulations
- Experience with statistical analysis and predictive modeling
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for presenting complex findings
