Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support strategic decision-making
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data standards (FISMA, HIPAA, and agency-specific protocols)
- Collaborate with law enforcement and intelligence teams to identify emerging trends and threats
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise executive summaries and briefings
- Maintain data integrity through rigorous quality control and documentation processes
- Support ad-hoc analysis requests for congressional inquiries and interagency initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in federal data analysis or regulated industry (government/military strongly preferred)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Certification in Tableau, Power BI, or AWS/GCP data platforms
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal data governance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a federal security clearance (required)
- Exceptional communication skills with experience briefing senior officials
