Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to support agency decision-making and compliance reporting
- Develop automated data pipelines using Python/SQL to streamline federal reporting processes
- Generate executive dashboards and visualizations for DHS leadership and congressional stakeholders
- Ensure strict adherence to federal data privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, PII guidelines)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data-driven solutions for homeland security challenges
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis for special investigations and policy impact assessments
- Maintain and optimize federal data warehouse structures and integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience with federal data analysis and compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Expert knowledge of federal data regulations (FISMA, 2 CFR Part 200, etc.)
- Proven ability to manage sensitive government datasets with security clearance requirements
- Strong analytical skills with experience in statistical modeling and predictive analytics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one
