Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and strategic opportunities
- Develop automated data pipelines using SQL, Python, and R to streamline reporting processes
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for senior leadership and federal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support evidence-based decision making
- Present findings to congressional committees and agency directors through executive briefings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years of professional data analysis experience with federal/government datasets
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (OMB, OIRA) and data governance frameworks
- Experience with geospatial analysis and border security data systems preferred
- Certification in AWS/GCP data analytics platforms highly desirable
