Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and patterns
- Develop automated data pipelines for federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO standards)
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, HIPAA as applicable)
- Prepare statistical reports and briefing materials for congressional submissions
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on data integration projects
- Document methodologies and maintain audit trails for all analyses
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years experience with federal data systems (e.g., FedStats, USA Spending)
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical analysis tools
- Knowledge of federal procurement and grant management data structures
- Experience with geospatial data analysis (GIS/QGIS preferred)
- Ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Strong written communication skills for technical audiences
