Responsibilities
- Analyze complex federal datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies for strategic reporting
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using government-provided tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (NIST, FISMA) and privacy regulations
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support evidence-based policy recommendations
- Automate reporting workflows using Python/R scripts with provided computational resources
- Maintain data integrity across multiple federal databases and systems
- Present findings to senior leadership using secure government platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal government or regulated industries
- Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Familiarity with federal data standards (GDAP, FedRAMP) and compliance frameworks
- Strong written/verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with large-scale dataset processing and statistical modeling
