Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret federal datasets to support agency compliance and program evaluation
- Develop automated reporting systems using SQL, Python, and R for weekly performance metrics
- Create interactive visualizations (Tableau/Power BI) for executive dashboards
- Ensure data accuracy and adherence to federal privacy regulations (FISMA, HIPAA)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and KPIs
- Document data processes and maintain secure federal data repositories
- Present findings to stakeholders through weekly progress reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in federal government data analysis or public sector reporting
- Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization platforms (Tableau, Power BI)
- Familiarity with federal data standards (FISMA, OMB guidelines)
- Strong written communication skills for technical documentation
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
