Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret large-scale federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau/Power BI
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams to support policy recommendations
- Automate data pipelines using AWS Glue and S3
- Present findings to senior government stakeholders
- Maintain data integrity across multiple federal systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (CMS, VA, DHS)
- Expert proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy)
- Familiarity with federal reporting requirements (OMB, GAO)
- Tableau/Power BI certification preferred
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Experience with geospatial data analysis (GIS)
