Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to support agency decision-making
- Design and maintain automated data pipelines ensuring compliance with federal security protocols
- Generate comprehensive visualizations and reports for executive stakeholders using Tableau and Power BI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement solutions
- Ensure data integrity through rigorous validation and quality control procedures
- Stay current with federal data regulations (FISMA, HIPAA, etc.) and implement best practices
- Mentor junior analysts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience in data analysis with federal government or DoD contractors
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and statistical analysis tools
- Expertise in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and ETL processes
- Active federal security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Strong knowledge of federal data regulations and compliance standards
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark) preferred
