Responsibilities
- Perform complex data analysis and modeling to support federal agency objectives and strategic decision-making.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or SAS.
- Ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of large-scale datasets through rigorous cleaning and validation processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and subject matter experts, to define data requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Adhere to federal compliance standards, including FISMA and NIST guidelines, regarding data handling.
- Conduct research to identify trends and patterns that can optimize operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the Federal Government or Defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, or SAS.
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Secret Security Clearance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical data into non-technical insights.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and project management software.
