Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and validate federal datasets to ensure accuracy and compliance with agency standards.
- Analyze complex data trends to identify patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Tableau, PowerBI, or SQL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical data models.
- Ensure all data reporting adheres to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and privacy regulations.
- Prepare detailed documentation and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Perform data audits and quality assurance checks to mitigate risk.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the federal government or defense contracting sector.
- Proficiency in SQL (Querying, Stored Procedures) and Python or R for data manipulation.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and privacy standards (e.g., FISMA).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
