Responsibilities
- Analyze federal datasets using SQL, Python, and R to identify trends and anomalies
- Develop interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI for executive reporting
- Ensure compliance with federal data security protocols (FISMA, NIST)
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on data integration projects
- Present findings to senior leadership through concise visualizations
- Document data processes and maintain quality assurance frameworks
- Support ad-hoc requests from congressional stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- 3+ years experience with federal data systems (e.g., FedStats, DATA.GOV)
- Expert proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python/R)
- Advanced certification in data visualization (Tableau/Power BI)
- Active security clearance or ability to obtain one
- Familiarity with 508 compliance standards
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
