Responsibilities
- Process weekly payroll disbursements for federal grant programs with 99.8% accuracy
- Maintain strict compliance with OMB Circulars and federal payment regulations
- Coordinate with Treasury Department auditors for quarterly compliance reviews
- Train state/local partners on payment processing systems
- Implement FISMA-compliant data security protocols for sensitive financial records
- Generate weekly payment reconciliation reports for congressional oversight
- Lead cross-agency initiatives for payment modernization projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration/Finance (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years in federal/state/local payment processing
- Active FEMA/NIMS certification preferred
- Proficiency in GSA SmartPay systems
- Top Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Advanced Excel/QuickBooks skills with macros
- Experience with federal grant lifecycle management
- Spanish bilingual certification required for Miami role
