Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of veteran health services in compliance with federal regulations
- Manage staff scheduling, performance evaluations, and professional development programs
- Develop and implement strategic initiatives to improve patient care outcomes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, VA policies, and accreditation standards
- Analyze healthcare data to identify improvement opportunities and resource allocation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
- Represent the VA in community outreach and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare management or federal service
- Certification in Healthcare Management (CAHCOM or similar) preferred
- Expertise in VA healthcare systems and federal HR regulations
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in healthcare data systems
- Exceptional leadership and interpersonal communication abilities
- Valid Florida driver's license and ability to travel between facilities
