Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure federal IT systems using Agile methodologies
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives ensuring compliance with FISMA and NIST standards
- Manage enterprise-level cloud migrations (AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize IT service delivery
- Develop disaster recovery plans and conduct system vulnerability assessments
- Mentor junior staff and implement continuous improvement processes
- Coordinate with federal stakeholders for system integration and policy compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of progressive IT experience with federal systems
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and virtualization technologies
- Strong knowledge of federal IT security frameworks (FISMA, NIST SP 800-53)
- Project management certification (PMP or similar) preferred
- Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
