Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure for federal government clients, ensuring compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Conduct system security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing to identify and remediate potential risks.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for complex network environments and classified systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy innovative software solutions and cloud-based services.
- Prepare and present technical reports, status briefings, and documentation to government stakeholders and project managers.
- Manage incident response procedures to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity for federal operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or an active Top Secret/Secret Federal Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in federal IT environments, network administration, or cybersecurity.
- Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and virtualization platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance (if not already held).
