Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex federal IT infrastructure.
- Implement and enforce strict cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data and classified information.
- Lead cross-functional project teams in the design, development, and deployment of new software solutions and systems upgrades.
- Conduct system analysis and provide technical recommendations to senior management to improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain full compliance with federal regulations, agency policies, and ITIL best practices.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on federal IT standards and procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in federal or civilian IT environments.
- Experience with ITIL frameworks, project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, Agile), and major enterprise infrastructure.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues under pressure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to government stakeholders.
