Your Role
You will be responsible for planning, designing, and administering IT systems and networks within a federal facility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modern solutions and maintain the highest standards of cybersecurity compliance.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain federal IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and hardware.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive federal data and ensure compliance with NIST and FISMA standards.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and federal staff.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance assessments to ensure operational efficiency.
- Manage software licenses, patches, and updates for federal systems.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or ability to obtain one).
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience in IT systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT frameworks, including FedRAMP.
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Server environments and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, security-conscious environment.
