Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Monitor federal network infrastructure and servers continuously during night shifts to ensure system availability and performance.
- Execute routine security patches, updates, and vulnerability scans to mitigate cyber threats.
- Investigate and resolve technical incidents reported by day-shift support teams.
- Configure and maintain firewalls, routers, and switches to enforce strict security protocols.
- Document system changes, incident reports, and operational logs in compliance with federal regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex IT issues and implement solutions.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to undergo clearance processing).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network administration or IT support within a government or enterprise environment.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, Cisco networking equipment, and Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management processes.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts, holidays, and weekends as required.
