Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST-compliant cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Lead incident response coordination for security breaches and cyber threats
- Develop security policies and procedures for federal data protection
- Manage identity and access control systems for 500+ users
- Collaborate with DoD partners on joint security initiatives
- Provide technical guidance to junior security analysts
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT security roles
- Certification in CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+
- Expert knowledge of FISMA, NIST SP 800-53, and RMF
- Proficiency in SIEM tools (Splunk, ArcSight)
- Experience with Windows Server and Linux hardening
- Ability to obtain Top Secret clearance
