Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain NIST cybersecurity frameworks across federal systems
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on classified networks
- Develop incident response protocols for cyber threats targeting federal assets
- Manage identity and access control systems with Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Collaborate with federal agencies on threat intelligence sharing
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, CUI, and FedRAMP requirements
- Mentor junior security analysts in federal protocols
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field
- 5+ years experience in enterprise security operations
- Certifications: CISSP, Security+, or GIAC preferred
- Expertise in SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar) and firewalls
- Familiarity with FedRAMP moderate/high controls
- Demonstrated experience with federal IT security policies
- Strong analytical and incident documentation skills
