Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal cybersecurity systems in compliance with NIST standards
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement security protocols
- Provide Tier-3 technical support for federal network infrastructure
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization projects
- Develop incident response plans and disaster recovery procedures
- Maintain documentation for federal IT compliance (FISMA, CUI)
- Mentor junior staff on cybersecurity best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 3+ years of federal IT security experience
- Active Security+ CE certification required
- Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance within 30 days
- Strong written communication for federal compliance reporting
- Preferred: CISSP or GIAC certification
