Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain DoD network infrastructure including servers, cloud systems, and cybersecurity protocols
- Implement and monitor IT security measures to protect classified and unclassified data systems
- Provide technical support for military communications platforms and space-based operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop IT solutions aligned with mission objectives
- Document system configurations, security protocols, and incident reports in compliance with federal standards
- Lead system upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery planning initiatives
- Train personnel on IT security best practices and system operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years experience in federal IT infrastructure management
- Active Secret security clearance (Top Secret preferred)
- CompTIA Security+ and CISSP certifications required
- Expertise in Cisco networking, VMware virtualization, and Azure cloud services
- Knowledge of DoD RMF (Risk Management Framework) and NIST standards
- Experience with incident response and cybersecurity threat mitigation
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance eligibility
