Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and manage local and wide-area networks within federal facilities.
- Implement and enforce strict IT security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP).
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Perform regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to ensure data integrity.
- Document technical configurations, procedures, and incident reports accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior staff members on federal IT best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in federal or defense contracting environments.
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (or willingness to undergo investigation).
- Strong proficiency with Cisco networking equipment and Windows Server environments.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and service desk operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical reporting.
