Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain local area networks (LAN) and wide area networks (WAN).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems for federal users.
- Ensure compliance with NIST security standards and federal regulations.
- Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
- Provide technical support and training to agency staff.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues in real-time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active or ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Professional certification such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, and switching protocols.
- Experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Office 365.
- US Citizenship is required for this federal position.
