Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for federal hardware and software systems.
- Manage and maintain the local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Ensure compliance with federal security standards and IT policies (FISMA).
- Configure and deploy new workstations, servers, and mobile devices.
- Monitor system performance and conduct regular security audits to prevent data breaches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement IT solutions and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or ITIL Foundation are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with federal IT systems and compliance regulations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical staff.
