Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of federal information systems. You will ensure compliance with strict government regulations and cybersecurity protocols while providing technical support to internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain federal networks and IT infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures, including SIEM monitoring and threat detection protocols.
- Manage software licensing, hardware inventory, and vendor relationships for federal contracts.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to maintain compliance with FedRAMP standards.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex government applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize legacy systems and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT environments, government contracting, or public sector IT management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
- Experience with ITIL framework and federal compliance standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
