Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain complex federal network infrastructure and ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for government agency applications.
- Ensure strict compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and FISMA security standards.
- Conduct regular system audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate security risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement modern cloud solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Document technical processes and create user guides for federal staff.
- Assist in the procurement and deployment of hardware and software assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one immediately.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPNs, and network protocols.
- Experience with ITIL framework and service desk management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for briefing stakeholders.
