What You Will Do
As a Federal IT Specialist, you will be the backbone of our technical operations, ensuring seamless communication and data security for our federal clients.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain federal network infrastructure, ensuring 99.9% uptime and availability.
- Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity protocols to protect Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and sensitive data.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and resolution of hardware, software, and network issues for federal staff.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and security audits to ensure strict compliance with NIST and FedRAMP standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable IT solutions tailored to government requirements.
- Document system configurations, maintain accurate technical logs, and provide user training on security best practices.
Qualifications
- Clearance Required: Active Secret or Top Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, network administration, or cybersecurity within a federal or government-contracted environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field (or equivalent military experience).
- Tech Stack: Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux environments.
- Compliance: Deep understanding of federal compliance frameworks (CUI, FISMA, NIST).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interfacing with stakeholders and reporting technical status.
