Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage federal network infrastructure, servers, and workstations during off-hours.
- Execute critical system backups, patch management, and security updates to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Respond to and resolve complex Level 2 and Level 3 help desk tickets and service requests.
- Enforce federal security protocols and conduct regular vulnerability assessments.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to ensure seamless handoff of system status and issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all system configurations and incident reports.
Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret Security Clearance (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in a federal government or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and Cisco networking technologies.
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
