Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Oversee and monitor federal IT systems, databases, and networks during the night shift to ensure 24/7 operational uptime.
- Security Compliance: Enforce federal security protocols and conduct routine security audits to protect sensitive government data.
- Incident Response: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues reported by federal agencies with minimal supervision.
- Data Entry & Analysis: Maintain accurate records of system logs, performance metrics, and incident reports.
- Remote Support: Provide Tier 2 technical support to federal clients via secure remote access tools.
- Documentation: Create and update technical documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible for a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a government or defense contracting environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in TCP/IP, VPN, Active Directory, and Microsoft Office Suite (Advanced Excel required).
- Night Shift Availability: Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
