Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure IT infrastructure solutions aligned with federal NIST and FISMA standards
- Manage cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure) and hybrid network environments
- Lead incident response protocols for cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans ensuring business continuity
- Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits for federal systems
- Collaborate with cross-agency teams on IT modernization initiatives
- Mentor junior IT staff and document technical procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain Secret clearance)
- Certification in CompTIA Security+ or CISSP
- Expertise in Windows Server and Linux administration
- Strong knowledge of federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Experience with cloud migration and DevOps methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
