Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal data systems and sensitive information in compliance with strict government regulations.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for federal employees and contractors.
- Assist in the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure across multiple federal sites.
- Conduct regular security audits and ensure adherence to ITIL frameworks and NIST standards.
- Document system configurations and maintain detailed technical logs for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and system performance.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship required for federal government clearance eligibility.
- Active Secret Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration within a federal or regulated environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and data protection policies.
