Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the organization's local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) infrastructure.
- Perform daily system monitoring to ensure availability, reliability, and performance of servers, desktops, and peripherals.
- Install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot server hardware and software, including operating systems and applications.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect data integrity and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support business initiatives.
- Conduct regular system backups and disaster recovery planning.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in system administration, network support, or a related IT role.
- Valid certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
