Responsibilities
- Manage and secure federal IT systems including network infrastructure, databases, and cloud platforms
- Implement cybersecurity protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments
- Provide technical support to 50+ federal employees across multiple agencies
- Coordinate disaster recovery planning and business continuity exercises
- Ensure compliance with FISMA, NIST, and federal IT standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system integration projects
- Document IT processes and maintain up-to-date system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT systems administration
- Active Security+ CE certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud environments
- Experience with enterprise-level network security tools (e.g., CrowdStrike, Palo Alto)
- Knowledge of FedRAMP and CUI handling protocols
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Tier 3 federal security clearance
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
