Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT infrastructure systems ensuring 99.9% uptime
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data
- Coordinate with cross-agency teams on system integration and compliance initiatives
- Develop technical documentation and provide user training for new systems
- Conduct regular system audits and recommend security enhancements
- Respond to and resolve critical IT incidents within SLA requirements
- Collaborate on modernization projects to improve federal IT efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in federal IT systems or equivalent government infrastructure
- Active Security+ or CISSP certification required
- Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and virtualization technologies
- Demonstrated experience with FedRAMP compliance frameworks
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance
- Strong analytical skills and experience with system troubleshooting methodologies
