Responsibilities
- Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation through closure for state IT initiatives.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, vendors, and state agencies to ensure alignment of project goals.
- Manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, policies, and government standards.
- Facilitate regular status meetings and provide clear, concise reporting to leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, preferably within the government or public sector.
- PMP or CAPM certification is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
