Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for federal agency hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
- Manage and maintain secure server environments and data centers in compliance with federal regulations (NIST).
- Diagnose and resolve complex IT issues with minimal downtime for critical government operations.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing strict access controls and backup protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new IT initiatives and software upgrades.
- Document all technical procedures and maintain accurate service logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or network engineering.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and Service Desk processes.
- Experience with government contracting requirements and security clearance procedures is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for technical reporting.
- Ability to obtain a Government-issued Public Trust clearance.
