Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain federal IT systems during weekend operational hours
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for classified and unclassified networks
- Execute system backups, updates, and security patches during off-peak hours
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot infrastructure issues
- Document all incidents and maintenance activities in federal compliance systems
- Collaborate with weekday teams for seamless system handovers
- Ensure all operations adhere to NIST and FISMA standards
Qualifications
- Active Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Bachelor's degree in IT/Cybersecurity or 5+ years equivalent experience
- Proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization
- Experience with federal IT compliance frameworks (FISMA, NIST)
- Weekend shift availability with reliable transportation
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
