Responsibilities
- Oversee the maintenance and security of federal information systems during off-peak hours.
- Perform routine system backups, updates, and patch management on weekends.
- Monitor network traffic and troubleshoot technical issues for remote staff members.
- Ensure compliance with federal cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Document all technical procedures and incidents in the central federal database.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to ensure seamless operations across time zones.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current Secret Security Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of federal IT protocols (e.g., FedRAMP, NIST).
- Ability to work independently during the weekend shift without direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills for remote collaboration.
