Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of federal IT networks and systems in the Chicago region.
- Implement and maintain security protocols to comply with Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) standards.
- Analyze system performance metrics and troubleshoot complex technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Prepare detailed technical reports and documentation for federal stakeholders and auditors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new software solutions into existing infrastructure.
- Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability scans to protect against cyber threats.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent military experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal, state, or local government IT environments.
- Strong working knowledge of federal compliance regulations, including NIST and FedRAMP.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C#.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Background Investigation clearance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
