About the Role:
As an IT Specialist, you will provide technical support and maintenance for federal systems. You will ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive data while supporting daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for federal agency hardware and software.
- Configure and troubleshoot network systems, printers, and peripherals.
- Maintain strict compliance with federal security protocols and regulations.
- Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve IT infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or a federal environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo a background investigation.
