Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain critical federal IT systems, servers, and networks during evening and overnight hours.
- Provide advanced technical support (Tier 2/3) to federal employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
- Ensure strict adherence to federal security protocols, compliance standards, and data protection regulations.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and maintenance tasks to ensure system uptime.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in the Service Management database.
- Collaborate with the day shift team to ensure seamless transitions and comprehensive issue resolution.
Qualifications
- Active Secret Security Clearance (or eligibility to obtain).
- Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related federal role.
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network infrastructure (TCP/IP).
- Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) and remote support tools.
- Must be willing and able to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
