Responsibilities
- Manage Inventory: Monitor stock levels of federal supplies and initiate reordering processes to prevent shortages.
- Coordinate Shipping: Arrange domestic and international shipping for federal agencies, ensuring all regulatory compliance is met.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all shipments, logs, and inventory changes using government-standard software.
- Compliance: Adhere to strict federal security and safety protocols at all times.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve shipping discrepancies and expedite orders.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, warehousing, or federal contracting support.
- Security: Ability to pass a federal background investigation and obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse environment.
