Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect mail/packages along assigned routes with 99.9% accuracy
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to traffic regulations
- Sort and organize mail according to delivery sequences and USPS protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions at residences and businesses
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report route irregularities or hazards
- Perform vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere to all USPS safety procedures and security protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 6+ hours
- U.S. citizenship or legal permanent residency
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in varying weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
