Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive security patrols of federal facilities during overnight hours using advanced surveillance systems
- Monitor and respond to security breaches, alarms, and suspicious activities with immediate tactical response
- Operate X-ray scanners, metal detectors, and access control systems for personnel and vehicle screening
- Maintain detailed incident logs and security reports using federal compliance software
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies during emergency situations or security threats
- Implement and enforce federal security protocols including access control and perimeter security
- Train junior security staff on federal compliance procedures and emergency response protocols
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid Secret Security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Minimum 3 years of security or law enforcement experience with night shift exposure
- Proficiency in CCTV monitoring, alarm systems, and access control technologies
- Valid New York State Security Guard license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and coordination
- Physical ability to stand/walk for extended periods and respond to emergencies
- Knowledge of federal security regulations (NISPOM, FSO guidelines)
