Responsibilities
- Monitor federal facility security systems and surveillance equipment during overnight shifts
- Conduct routine patrols and access control enforcement at restricted government sites
- Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations with appropriate protocols
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security documentation for federal compliance
- Collaborate with federal law enforcement agencies during joint operations
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive federal information and procedures
- Operate advanced security technology including biometric scanners and alarm systems
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
- Minimum 2 years of security or law enforcement experience
- Valid California driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficiency with security software and surveillance technology
- Strong written communication skills for incident reporting
- Completion of federal background investigation and polygraph examination
- First Aid/CPR certification preferred
