Responsibilities
- Monitor surveillance systems and patrol federal facilities during overnight hours
- Respond to security breaches and emergencies with coordinated protocols
- Conduct access control screenings for personnel and visitors
- Prepare detailed incident reports and security assessments
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical situations
- Maintain physical security infrastructure (locks, alarms, barriers)
- Participate in emergency response drills and training exercises
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship and valid security clearance eligibility
- Minimum 2 years security or law enforcement experience
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Proficient in surveillance systems and access control technology
- Strong communication skills and crisis management abilities
- Valid Illinois driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
