Responsibilities
- Patrol and Monitoring: Conduct regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior to ensure a safe environment.
- Security Access: Monitor and control access points, verifying credentials and maintaining a log of all personnel and visitors.
- Incident Response: Respond promptly to alarms, suspicious activities, and emergencies following established protocols.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed incident reports and log entries accurately and in a timely manner.
- Equipment Maintenance: Inspect and report the condition of security equipment, including cameras, locks, and alarms.
- Compliance: Adhere strictly to all federal regulations, agency policies, and security directives.
Qualifications
- U.S. Citizenship: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a federal background investigation, including a drug screen.
- Night Shift Availability: Must be available to work rotating night shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights for extended periods.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
